Meetings are every Monday night from 7:00 to 8:15.  Troop 83 is a boy run troop with adult supervision and guidance.  The boys are grouped into patrols where each patrol  has an elected patrol leader, as well as an assistant patrol leader and a scribe.  The patrol leader represents his patrol as the montly meetings of the Patrol Leaders Council (PLC), made up of the Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Scribe, Patrols Leaders and Troop Guides.  At the PLC meetins, the boys plan the details of the upcoming month's meetings and outing.  Once a year the troop has a special session to plan out the calendar for the next year.  The senior leaders are elected twice a year, in March and October.
